Brr! It was a cold week, but we powered through it and it gave us opportunities for connections as we worked through the topics of liquids as well as, Canadian Communities such as Alberta and Nunavut.
We also spent time this week learning and broadening our awareness of Remembrance day and the role of Veterans and Peacekeepers - including Indigenous and animals. We also learned about the significance of the Poppy and why it is such an important symbol of gratitude and remembrance. We used a book titled, What Does Peace Feel Like? by Vladimir Radunsky as a provocation for a writing task about Peace through our senses.

I Can Explain the Processes of the Water Cycle
We have been expanding our learning from our field trip to the Bow Habitat by looking at the water cycle in more depth. After learning the words 'evaporation', 'condensation', and 'precipitation' we worked in small groups using the loose parts to make models that showed our understanding.
